Five-star running back Marcus Lattimore of Byrnes (SC) attended Junior Day at Duke University last weekend and plans to attend Florida State's Junior Day this weekend. Lattimore, rated one of the top juniors in the 2010 class, currently holds at least 10 scholarship offers and is being recruited for the Tar Heels by coach John Blake.
Lattimore's high school teammate, athlete Nick Jones, also promises to be one of the prize catches of next year's recruiting class and is garnering attention from the Tar Heels as well.
