Four Swimmers Suspended After Alcohol Violations

Four UNC swimmers face suspensions resulting from alcohol-related arrests at a September party held at the residence of one of the team's senior captains. On the morning of Sept. 20, police responded to an incident of loud music and talking at 703 N. Columbia St., the home of senior Harrison John Browning, 22. The police issued Browning, a senior captain on the swim team, a citation for giving/selling a malt beverage to a minor, a misdemeanor. Browning was suspended from the team through midnight Oct. 31.
