Ticket sales strong for UNC bowl game

Tickets are selling fast for the Meineke Car Care Bowl since the game’s announcement this week of a North Carolina-Pittsburgh match-up. Bowl organizer Raycom Sports reports that fewer than 2,000 lower-level seats remain for the Dec. 26 game at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. Capacity is 74,000. There are just under 30,000 seats left, mostly in the upper level.
