Ticket sales strong for UNC bowl game

Tickets are selling fast for the Meineke Car Care Bowl since the game’s announcement this week of a North Carolina-Pittsburgh match-up. Bowl organizer Raycom Sports reports that fewer than 2,000 lower-level seats remain for the Dec. 26 game at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. Capacity is 74,000. There are just under 30,000 seats left, mostly in the upper level. (MSN.com)
