Wannstedt says Pitt is ready for game
Posted Dec 25, 2009
Pitt coach Dave Wannstedt said the partying is over, and the 17th-ranked Panthers are mentally ready to take on North Carolina in the Meineke Car Care Bowl on Saturday. "Our guys are right where we need to be, and I think (Wednesday) was our best day of practice by far." Wannstedt said the Panthers are driven by the chance to win 10 games, a feat they have not accomplished since 1981.
