Before Ryan Zimmerman’s walk off vs. Andrew Miller, the two shared a long history

The first time these two squared off, Zimmerman was a 19-year-old sophomore at the University of Virginia, Miller a 19-year-old freshman at the University of North Carolina. That Cavaliers team would send Zimmerman and Mark Reynolds and Joe Kohansky to the majors. That Tar Heels team would send Miller and Chris Ianetta and hard-throwing to the big leagues, too.
