QB Chazz Surratt flip might signal NCAA issues over for UNC football
Posted Jul 1, 2015
A single verbal commitment late last week could have a pivotal impact on the Tar Heels moving forward. The decision by East Lincoln High School quarterback Chazz Surratt to back off a previous pledge to Duke in favor of UNC may be a sign the cloud created by a nearly five-year long NCAA probe may be clearing. Surratt's change-of-heart was big news based on his talent alone. The 6-foot-3, 210-pounder is the state's best dual-sport athlete.
