North Carolina isn't getting enough respect, but winning can change that

Last week, North Carolina won its third straight game over a bowl-eligible opponent, this time a 59-21 thumping of Miami. It was enough to impress AP voters, who ranked UNC 12th. The committee has the Tar Heels at No. 17. So the question is: What’s the critique the committee has that many other observers don’t? The first answer is obvious: Week 1.
