How much is a win vs. No. 1 worth? Likely not enough for North Carolina

Is a win over No. 1 Clemson worth six spots in the final rankings? That could be the defining question of North Carolina’s playoff chances. The Tar Heels are ranked No. 14 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings, which still looks to be too far away to become a factor in the playoff race. For a second consecutive week, it looks as if it is Clemson or bust for the ACC.
