Tar Heels hunting history, not just Bears, at Russell Athletic Bowl

Most college football bowls, with the exception of the two that serve as national playoff semifinals, are little more than exhibition games designed to reward players for a season of hard work, soak some money out of their school’s boosters and provide holiday programming for a certain 24-hour cable sports network. But that won’t be the case for UNC at the Russell Athletic Bowl.
