Lady Heels point to future
Posted Apr 4, 2006
Carolina loses senior starters La'Tangela Atkinson, an ACC all-defensive player, and Jessica Sell. But the Heels return their top three scorers and every one of their important bench players. The recruiting class includes 6-foot-3 Jessica Breland of Bertie High, a McDonald's All-American, and 6-2 Trinity Bursey of Western Harnett, who made all-state. With the production the Heels got this season from Latta, Little and Erlana Larkins, offense shouldn't be a problem.
