Thanks to the NFL, UNC is participating in a CTE study with part of a $14.7 million grant

With part of a $14.7 million grant from the NFL, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences Kevin Guskiewicz and researchers at UNC will survey up to 2,500 former NFL players for CTE, the largest group of former NFL players studied thus far, in partnership with the Harvard Medical School, Boston Children’s Hospital and the Medical College of Wisconsin. UNC will receive $4.7 million.
