The emotions began the moment Liberty baseball coach Scott Jackson saw the Flames’ placement as the No. 3 seed in the Chapel Hill Regional on Monday. Jackson spent eight seasons as an assistant at UNC and considers Tar Heels coach Mike Fox a mentor. The feel-good moment took another turn when UNC Wilmington was announced as the fourth seed.
