Boston Red Sox prospect Trevor Kelley has 1.04 ERA at Pawtucket; Who is he?
Posted Jun 27, 2019
Look at any Red Sox top prospect list and Trevor Kelley’s name doesn’t appear. But he owns some of the best statistics of any pitcher in Boston’s minor league system. He has a 2.33 ERA and .235 batting average against since the Red Sox drafted him out of UNC in 2015. Kelley’s eventual major league debut will be a tremendous story considering he was a 36th-round pick.
