Rick Porcello, a Cy Young award winner, and Madison Bumgarner, a 4-time All-Star and World Series MVP, committed to UNC in the same 2008 class as former Mets All-Star Matt Harvey. But instead of getting a triple-headed monster of talented freshmen, the Tar Heels only got Harvey after Bumgarner and Porcello were drafted in the first round in 2007.
