An ode to being a bullpen catcher

I can proudly say I can hold my own in the bullpen. So, as you watch the pitchers this week in Omaha, you can know that I have been with every pitch of theirs every step of the way. Every marathon bullpen, every split-finger in the dirt, every 95-mph fastball, every knuckleball that will never be used, and every Colin Bates two-seam fastball that moves to the point it feels like my thumb will be forever broken.
