Makenna Jones, Alle Sanford Win Doubles Crown In Las Vegas

The North Carolina doubles tandem of senior Makenna Jones and junior Alle Sanford won the doubles title Sunday at the Freeman Memorial Tennis Championship at UNLV. Jones and Sanford defeated Stanford's Emma Higuchi and Sara Choy in the doubles title match by a 6-2 margin. They are the third Tar Heel doubles team to win the championship.
