Freshman catcher Eric Grintz went 4 for 4 and knocked in four runs and a quartet of North Carolina pitchers combined for 15 strikeouts as UNC Baseball defeated Elon, 7-1, Tuesday at Boshamer Stadium (Highlights). UNC is 4-0, while the Phoenix are 3-1. UNC out-hit Elon, 10-4, including three singles and a double by Grintz and two hits by Earl Semper.
