Stronger Trent Thornton aims to secure job in Blue Jays’ rotation

Trent Thornton may not be all swole, as the kids say these days, but the 26-year-old favorite for Toronto's fifth starter’s job is certainly stronger after intensifying the amount of weight he pushed around this off-season. The regimen was vastly different from years past, when he’s “been nervous about getting bulkier” for fear it would hinder his athleticism.
