UNC's Athletic Director on Student Payments, Financial Concerns

UNC Athletic Director Bubba Cunningham and the school’s compliance office worked with the ACC’s compliance coordinators and the NCAA to make sure the university could still send out room and board checks without breaking any rules regarding impermissible benefits. “[Providing room and board resources] was a very high priority for our coaches,” said Cunningham.
