Aaron Sabato Selected 27th Overall In 2020 MLB Draft

With the 27th overall pick in the 2020 MLB draft, the Minnesota Twins selected sophomore slugger Aaron Sabato. Sabato became the 24th Tar Heel taken in the first round or supplemental round in UNC history and the 16th in Mike Fox's 21 seasons as a head coach. The draft pick marks the 43rd straight season to see a Tar Heel taken in the MLB Draft.
