UNC Freshman Peter Fountain Finishes Second At Carolinas Amateur

North Carolina freshman golfer Peter Fountain continued his stellar play this summer tying for second place, one shot out of the lead, on Sunday at the Carolinas Amateur at Cape Fear Country Club. The Raleigh native shot a 2-under-par 70 in Sunday's fourth and final round to finish at 16 under 272. Fountain shot 66-68-68-70–272 over the four days.
