No. 1 North Carolina took advantage of a Duke own-goal to defeat the No. 4 Blue Devils on Friday at Dorrance Field (Highlights). In the 63rd minute, Rachel Jones sent a cross through the box that was deflected into the net by a Duke defender to give the Tar Heels the lead. This was the second own-goal surrendered by Duke against the Tar Heels this season.
