Carolina on his mind: Cherryville baseball standout Dalton Pence signs with UNC

On Wednesday, Cherryville High baseball standout Dalton Pence signed a National Letter of Intent to attend UNC. "It's amazing, I'm at a loss for words," Pence said following a ceremony commemorating the occasion. "I've been a North Carolina fan as long as I can remember. When I met the players and coaches up there on my visit, everything felt like home."
