No. 14 UNC Wrestling Begins Season With 45-0 Win Over Gardner-Webb


No. 14 North Carolina opened its wrestling season Sunday with a 45-0 home win over Gardner-Webb. Freshmen Julian Tagg and Gavin Kane won their first matches at UNC, while No. 1 Austin O'Connor began his season with a win via fall. UNC will host No. 8 Virginia Tech in Carmichael Arena on Friday, January 15 at 6:00 p.m. on the ACC Network. (GoHeels.com)
