Makenna Jones won the clinching point to lift top seed North Carolina to a 4-1 victory over Duke in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Women's Tennis Team Championship late Wednesday night (Highlights). UNC improved to 30-0 and will face No. 5 seed Pepperdine in Friday's semifinals. UNC also extended its doubles winning streak to 23 matches.
