Avon Old Farms alumni bring Northeast toughness to top-ranked North Carolina men’s lacrosse


North Carolina men’s lacrosse coach is often asked why he recruits so heavily in the Northeast. The top-ranked Tar Heels boast 17 players with ties to the region — six of whom are from Connecticut or played at a prep school in the state. The answer is easy. “Toughness,” Breschi said. “Everybody is skilled up and down the East Coast." (Hartford Courant)
