Four Tar Heels To Compete At U.S. Track & Field Olympic Trials

Four members of UNC's track and field team will compete at the U.S. Olympic Trials, which begin on Friday in Eugene, Oregon Daniel McArthur will compete Friday in the men's shot put. Jill Shippee will compete in the women's hammer. Madison Wiltrout competes in the women's javelin. And Thomas Ratcliffe competes in the men's 5,000 meters.
