Crystal Dunn, one of the world’s best soccer players, feels ‘like someone has dimmed my light'


Despite being ranked as the world’s sixth-best footballer, according to ESPN, former UNC player says she feels unable to fully shine both on and off of the pitch. Her experience is not uncommon for dark-skinned Black women. “I think as a woman of color on this team, especially a dark-skinned woman, I’ve always felt pressure,” she said. (The Undefeated)
