Posted Aug 19, 2005
Following impressive summers in the Cape Cod League, North Carolina pitchers Andrew Miller and Daniel Bard were named the league's No. 1 and No. 2 professional prospects by Baseball America, respectively. Miller and Bard are the first teammates to earn the top two spots since current major leaguers Nomar Garciaparra and Jason Varitek of Georgia Tech topped the list in 1993.
