UNC Field Hockey Falls To Liberty, 4-0

In a top-10 field hockey battle Sunday at Karen Shelton Stadium, 10th-ranked Liberty shut out North Carolina 4-0, dealing the Tar Heels their first loss at their current home. UNC had won 41 consecutive games at home since moving into Shelton Stadium prior to the 2018 season and had won 62 in a row in Chapel Hill. The ninth-ranked Tar Heels fell to 8-5.
