UNC Women’s Soccer Falls To South Carolina In NCAA Tournament

The Tar Heels’ pursuit of a 23rd national title in program history will have to wait, as the North Carolina women's soccer team fell in the first round of the NCAA Tournament to South Carolina, 1-0, at Dorrance Field. This is UNC's first-ever loss in its first game of the NCAA Tournament. Under head coach Anson Dorrance, they had previously been 39-0.
