Clemson football promotes from within to replace Brent Venables, Tony Elliott

Clemson is keeping it in the family.Dabo Swinney lost both his offensive coordinator, Tony Elliott, and defensive coordinator, Brent Venables, to head-coaching jobs in recent weeks. Swinney announced Tuesday that Wes Goodwin will take over as defensive coordinator for Venables. Additionally, Brandon Streeter has been elevated to offensive coordinator.
