No. 2 North Carolina won its first match of the ITA Kick-Off Weekend against Charlotte 4-0 on Friday at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center indoor courts. In singles, Elizabeth Scotty, No.7 Reilly Tran, and No. 19 Fiona Crawley won handily, dispatching their opponents each in two sets. Carolina (5-0) will face Tulsa on Saturday in the championship match.
