There North Carolina was, trailing Seton Hall 2-0 entering the bottom of the first inning of Friday’s season opener. Not even 10 minutes into the season, Angel Zarate’s theory was being put to the test. And then, just like that, it happened: Zarate homered on the first pitch he saw, Danny Serretti went yard minutes later and suddenly the route was on.
