Early Runs Propel No. 24 UNC Baseball Past Winthrop

UNC scored in each of the four innings, building a six-run lead and beat Winthrop, 7-3, at Boshamer Stadium on Wednesday (Highlights). The No. 24 Tar Heels racked up 11 hits with Johnny Castagnozzi, Tomas Frick, Hunter Stokely, and Angel Zarate collecting two hits each. Zarate drove in a pair of runs as did Alberto Osuna, who hit a two-run home run.
