Shaddon Peavyhouse and Davis Palermo held VMI hitless over the final five innings and struck out eight, while Tomas Frick drove in a pair of runs to lead No. 15 North Carolina to a 5-1 victory over VMI at Boshamer Stadium on Tuesday (Highlights). Peavyhouse (2-1) picked up his second win of the season, tossing two scoreless innings and striking out three.
