Carolina Ranks High in Black Doctoral Recipients


UNC ranked high in an annual survey of earned doctorates from 2016-20, including placing in the top five in doctorates awarded to Black or African American recipients at public institutions. For American Indian/Alaska natives, Carolina tied for No. 17 among all universities. For students who identify as more than one race, UNC tied for No. 15 overall. (Carolina Alumni Review)
