UNC Baseball Loses To Virginia In First Game Of Weekend Series

Virginia hit solo home runs in second, seventh, and eighth innings and the No. 11 Cavaliers defeated North Carolina, 4-2, at Disharoon Park on Friday. Max Carlson matched his career-high with 6.2 innings pitched and threw a career-high 112 pitches. Danny Serretti extended his career-long hitting streak to 12 games with a two-out single in the fifth.
