After recent trip to outer space, UNC professor Jim Kitchen is going to Earth’s deepest point

Three months ago, UNC professor Jim Kitchen was gazing down at Earth from the blackness of outer space. Next week, he’ll explore the darkness of the ocean floor in the Mariana Trench, the deepest point on Earth. Kitchen also has visited all 193 countries. This dive will make him the fifth person in history to travel to both inner and outer space. (MSN.com)
