Matt Harvey brings Norfolk Tides veteran presence as he works his way back to major leagues

Former UNC baseball standout Matt Harvey has pitched in a World Series and an All-Star Game, and now he’s trying to pitch his way back to the major leagues. A former New York Mets star known as the “Dark Knight,” Harvey joined the Norfolk Tides on July 8 after an extended stint at the Baltimore Orioles’ player development complex in Sarasota, Florida.
