UNC Women's Soccer Blanks VCU In Exhibition Opener

Avery Patterson scored two goals to lead the UNC women's soccer team to a 5-0 win over VCU in an exhibition match at Dorrance Field on Sunday. The Tar Heels scored three goals in the first half before adding two more after halftime. Tori Dellaperuta, Kate Faasse, and Julia Dorsey each added a goal. The Tar Heels held a 35-5 advantage in shots.
