Deja Kelly upgrades her ride by combining basketball talent with style to land NIL deals


Driving a 2014 Ford Fusion while she was a high school player in Texas, could never have imagined the ride she’d have while playing at UNC . After college athletes were allowed to use their name, image and likeness (NIL) to earn money in the summer of 2021, Kelly now drives a 2022 white BMW X5, which has a retail price of more than $61,000.
