North Carolina's depleted defense comes through in a 1-0 women’s soccer victory over Wake Forest
Posted Oct 14, 2022
Tori Hansen, the heart of North Carolina's defense, scored on a second-half penalty kick and Tessa Dellarose made several nice plays on defense to keep the No. 2 UNC women's soccer team rolling. Hansen’s goal held up for a 1-0 Senior Night win over Wake Forest (Highlights), the Tar Heels’ third straight shutout, despite star Sam Mesa playing only 26 minutes.
