The Tar Heels hold the top spot in the USA Lacrosse Women's Preseason Top 20 poll, as announced by USA Lacrosse Magazine this week. UNC finished its undefeated national championship season at No. 1 in the final ranking last year. Returning this season to lead UNC are All-America selections Emily Nalls, Brooklyn Walker-Welch and Caitlyn Wurzburger.
