First career start. First career ACC honor. North Carolina women's lacrosse goalkeeper Alecia Nicholas has been tabbed the ACC Co-Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league on Tuesday. Nicholas made 14 saves between the pipes in No. 1 Carolina's 14-9 victory over No. 12 James Madison in her first career start on February 11.
