Across North Carolina's Triangle, fan interest in women's college basketball is rising


At Chapel Hill’s Carmichael Arena last month, UNC fans outnumbered those wearing Wolfpack red. The Tar Heels beat NC State, and it was the first sellout at a UNC women’s basketball game since 2015 as more than 6,300 fans piled into the venue. The game was also televised nationally.
