Shaun Draughn's position switch a blessing for Tar Heel running game
Posted Oct 7, 2008
Shaun Draughn grew up a preacher's son in Tarboro. What was that like? "Everybody thinks it's strict, but it's not," Draughn joked. "I was the bad one. My sisters, he didn't have to worry about." But thanks to Draughn's performance against UConn, Carolina doesn't have to worry as much about its running game. The 6-foot, 205-pound speedster ran for 109 yards and a touchdown on just 19 carries against the previously undefeated Huskies.
