UNC Moving 2024 Spring Commencement to Evening Date


UNC announced it will hold its 2024 Spring Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 11 at 7 p.m. in Kenan Stadium. Traditionally, the ceremony has been held on Mother’s Day – the second Sunday in May. According to former UNC General Alumni Association president Doug Dibbert, Spring Commencement has been held on Mother’s Day since 1972. (Chapelboro.com)
