For all that the Tar Heels have accomplished in the last three seasons (60 wins, three NCAA Tournament berths, one Sweet 16), they've yet to finish higher than third in the ACC regular season or reach so much as an ACC Tournament semifinals. "There's definitely more of an urgency there," said Deja Kelly, a two-time first-team All-ACC selection.
