Sylvia Hatchell is believed to have met with South Carolina officials while at her beach house in North Myrtle Beach, S.C., on Thursday evening to discuss the Gamecocks' vacant women's basketball coaching position, according to multiple sources. The Tar Heels' coach couldn't be reached for comment. When her husband, Sammy, was asked if Sylvia was meeting with South Carolina officials later on Thursday night, he said, "You'd have to talk to Sylvia about that."
